Daniel Carlsson & Jenney Surelia: December Sessions

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Aldo Velasquez is unable to be part of the December Tango Sessions, A Taste of Tango is delighted to welcome Daniel Carlsson in his place, teaching with Jenney Surelia.

Daniel Carlsson is a teacher and dancer whose teaching talent has won him many fans around the globe. He know how to make tango simple yet challenging and fun whilst bringing expression, awareness and flow into a connected dance. He is based in Sweden and teaches weekly in Sweden and Denmark as part of the "TangoKompaniet" he founded.

Jenneysurelia8080 Jenney Surelia has been dancing for over a decade and has a way with Tango that combines sensuality, technique & musicality. With a passion to trasmit this to anyone who comes to her classes & workshops, she has been teaching in London and beyond for the last 3 years.

Aldo Velásquez & Jenney Surelia

In a new and exciting collaboration A Taste of Tango is proud to present Aldo Velásquez & Jenney Surelia especially for the Tango Sessions 2008.

Aldo Velásquez is a teacher and dancer living in Denmark known for his smooth, connected & dynamic dancing, he has taught and performed in the Copenhagen Tango Festival since it's inception, as well as the Tango del Norte festival amongst others.

Jenneysurelia8080 Jenney Surelia has been dancing for over a decade and has a way with Tango that combines sensuality, technique & musicality. With a passion to trasmit this to anyone who comes to her classes & workshops, she has been teaching in London and beyond for the last 3 years.

Saturday 5th July

Technique & Mechanics:
Work on your dancing from the core.

1:00-2:30pm Technique for Women with Jenney Surelia
Balance, posture, walking and the embrace.
Please wear comfortable clothes, and bring a pair of flat shoes as well as dancing heels, you should be able to pivot in both pairs of shoes.

1:00-2:30pm Technique for Men with Aldo Velásquez
Balance, posture, walking and the embrace.

2:40-4:20pm Turns & Changes in Direction with Aldo & Jenney

4:30-6:00pm Strong & Weak Beats in the dance with Aldo & Jenney

Sunday 6th July

Organics & Dynamics:
Comfortability & flow in the couple and on the floor.

1:00-2:30pm Technique for Women with Jenney Surelia
Musical Adornos
